How do I join?
You will be very welcome to just turn up at a regular meeting, held at 20:00 on the fourth Monday of each month, September to May inclusive. [We usually organise visits and walks in the June – August period but days may vary from our normal pattern to meet hosts’ requirements.]

We would also be pleased to see you as a visitor, to try us out or to attend a talk of particular interest.
How much does it cost?
The membership subscription is £12 a year. The charge for a visitor is £3 per visit.

What can I expect from membership?
Members have the opportunity to
- attend talks presented by speakers expert in their fields, usually of local or regional interest;
- participate in visits and walks;
- use our resources including some restricted content on this website;
- meet people with similar interests and varied experience.

How do I contact the Group if I have a question?
Please use the contact form or simply come to a meeting. These are advertised on this site and most village noticeboards. Meetings almost always take place on the 4th Monday of the month at 8.00pm in the War Memorial Hall.
